Integrity Group Commends Ajede, As Ukwuani Council Boss Promises To Become Member

The Integrity Group, Ukwuani Chapter has commended the Council Chairman, Bar. Ajede Possible on his developmental strides in the area.

The commendation was made on Thursday 27th July, 2023, at Obiaruku, Headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government Area, when the group led by Hon Anthony Chibueze Emikpe, paid a courtesy visit on the Chairman in his office.

Introducing the Group to the Council Boss, Hon Anthony Chibueze Emikpe, popularly called Uncle Tee, tagged the Group as M.O.R.E Ambassadors for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Addressing newsmen at the end of the visit, the Administrator, Integrity Group Ukwuani LGA, Hon Anthony Chibueze Emikpe, a one time Chairmanship and House of Assembly Candidate under SDP, praised the Council Boss on what he termed milestone projects in Ukwuani LGA.

The group specifically mentioned some key projects executed by Ajede administration which includes;
1. Schoolarship to 100 students comprising of 100k for 10 students per ward.
2. Ongoing Renovation of Umuaja community primary health center.
3. Embarking on rigorous Fumigation of public primary schools, health center & markets.
4. Organising of Chairmanship inter school debate/competition to encourage students.
5. Purchase of a Waste truck & brand new Toyota bus for NULGE to aide the movement of staffs within the LGA.
6. Building and furnishing of the ultra modern Ukwuani legislative complex.
Amongst others.

The group further appealed to the Council Boss to join the Integrity Group for a better synergy.

Responding, Bar Possible Ajede, the Ukwuani Council Chairman, appreciated the Group for the visit.

He informed the group that his administration runs an open door policy and will always do MORE for the Ukwuani people.

He vowed not to fail the youths as he is the first youth to be elected as a Council Boss in Ukwuani LGA.

He pleaded with the Group to not just limit themselves to politics but also on some societal issues like curbing the menace of drug abuse in our locality.

He also tasked the group to continue to support the M.O.R
E Agenda of the present State Government.

Speaking further, the Council Boss yielded to the group’s request that he joins them to further support the Rt Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori and Sir Monday Onyeme’s Administration.

The Council Boss officially invited the Group to grace the Inauguration of some of the projects completed by his Administration on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023.

This medium gathered that some of the projects to be commissioned include : The Amai Ultra Modern Market, Amai, Ultra Modern Abattoir and Meat market, Obiaruku, Modern Okpala Uku Palace, Obiaruku and the Ultra Modern Legislative Arm Office Complex, Obiaruku.

Those that accompanied the Administrator, Integrity Group Ukwuani LGA include the LGA Secretary, Comrade Stanley Enede; The LGA Woman Leader, Comrade Princess Olise; The LGA Publicity Secretary, Comrade Abraham Ojumah; The LGA Welfare Director, Comrade Rachel Enwefa; The Special Assistant to the Administrator on Girl Child Mobilization, Comrade Mirabel Ottah.

Others include The Ward 7 Administrator, Comrade Monday Olise; The LGA Treasurer, Comrade Nneka Okiemute; The Assistant LGA Woman Leader Comrade Ngozi Isamah; The LGA Organising Secretary Comrade Sunday Lawal; Ward 7 Womam Leader Comr Gloria Anigala and the Ward 9 Administrator, Comrade Emmanuel Demain.
