JAMB Score: Mmesoma Is A Brilliant Girl, Should Be Forgiven, Given Admission —Keyamo
…Says She Needs Counselling, Correction, Guidance
By Daniel Dafe
Former Minister of State (Ministry of Labour and Employment) and Spokesperson of APC Presidential Campaign,
Festus Keyamo SAN, has called on Nigerians to forgive Mmesoma Ejikeme, saying she is “a brilliant girl, judging by her actual score of 249.”
Keyamo said this in a tweet on Saturday after she was indicted by the committee set up by Anambra State government to investigate and report their independent findings on the Mmesoma and JAMB Saga.
Mmesoma had claimed she scored 362.
Keyamo in his tweet added: “The nation should be careful not to destroy her,” saying that “she should be allowed to get her admission based on her actual scores.”

He said: “What she needs is counselling, correction and guidance. She obviously did not know the weight and gravity of what she was doing. As teenagers, most of us made juvenile mistakes that never came to light.”
According to him, he deliberately waited for the end of this investigation before commenting on the matter.
He said that the parents of Ejikeme need to encourage her to do a public apology to JAMB, to her family and to Nigerians” and then considered for admission.
“Anyone still pushing other narratives over this issue is not helping her and her family.
“It is time to close this very unfortunate chapter and move on. This is my plea,” he opined.
