BREAKING: UPU Youthwing Elects Ughere Blessed As President

The Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Youthwing, Worldwide, has elected Ughere Blessed Benjamin, as President to pilot the affairs of the body for the next three years.
Elections into the office of President and 21 others held at the Urhobo House, Uvwiamuge, on Saturday.
Results announced by the Election Committee Chairman, Rev. Fr. Christopher Ekabo, saw Blessed clinching the victory with 90 votes.
While Godstime Oghenebrohein got 11 votes, Efemena Umukoro ganered 10 votes, and Kehinde Prince Taiga 3 votes.
Earlier, before voting began, Emmanuel Esieparienrhe and Owen Oghenero Edafe stepped down for Blessed.
Others who emerged victorious during the election are:
Deputy President- Okoloko Paul
General Secretary- Egheneji Oghenegweke
Publicity Secretary- Aboyi Lawson
Chief Whip- Agbubi Ejovwoke Emmanuel

While five offices were contested for, 17 aspirants were returned unopposed.
