Delta NUJ Election: Sapele Chapel Congratulates Oyowe, Others
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Sapele Correspondents’ Chapel has congratulated the newly elected Delta State Executive Committee (SEC) on the recent victory in the just concluded State Council election.
In a statement on Thursday signed by the Chapel’s Chairman, Comrade Nelson Agbajor and Secretary, Daniel Dafe Umukoro, the union also congratulated Felix Ekwu,; Vice Chairman; Victor Sorokwu, State Secretary; Josephine Omordio, Assistant Secretary; Caroline Ubini, Treasurer; Polycarb Orosevwotu, Financial Secretary, and
Celestine Afokobah, Auditor who emerged during the elections on Wednesday.
The chapel while lauding the new state excos, urged them to unite all and that the outcome of the exercise should be taken in Comradeship spirit of ” no victor, no vanquish ”
“We congratulate the new Delta NUJ exco on their victory and we hope that we navigate through all obstacles and move on as one united family.

“We assure the Oyowe-led state exco of our unalloyed support as a chapel and continued support for the Delta Council of the NUJ.
“Sapele NUJ Chapel also congratulates the immediate past State Council Executive led by a very pragmatic Chairman, Comrade Michael Ikeogwu, for their outstanding services to the union and the state,” saying they did noble with their policies and achievements.
