Ogun To Celebrate World Food Day Monday
The Ogun State Government will on Monday October 16, 2023 join the rest of the world to celebrate year 2023 World Food Day with the theme, “Water is Life, Water is Food : Leave No one behind.”
In a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Samuel Adeogun, said the World Food Day will also highlight the need to ensure healthy diets for all.

The release further indicated that the event is celebrated annually to promote global awareness and action for those who suffer hunger.
The day will feature food exhibition, capacity building, drama, sensitization of farmers among others, on the critical role of water for life on earth and water as foundation for food production.
The venue of this year event is the Oja Irorun market, open space, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
