UPU Youthwing: Anxiety As Committee Unveils Final List Of Aspirants Today

THE Screening Committee of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) for the 2023 Youth Wing Election will today, Thursday, October 26, 2023 release the final list of aspirants eligible to contest elections into various positions of the UPU Youth Wing.

The UPU Screening Committee headed by Rev Fr Christopher Ekabo, JP had on Tuesday and Wednesday invited all the aspirants for screening.

It was gathered that ahead of today’s release of cleared aspirants, there is anxiety in the camps of supporters of certain aspirants across the 24 Kingdoms of Urhobo.

However, sources say that members of the Committee are men and women of integrity and have done a thorough work by ensuring the electoral guidelines provided were strictly followed.
