Catholics Are Proud Of The Uvwie Royal Couple – Ewherido

The Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Warri, Anthony Ewherido has remarked that Catholics were proud of the royal couple of Uvwie Kingdom.
He made the remarks during the thanksgiving mass service of the Uvwie royal couple that marked the celebration of the 80th birthday anniversary of Abe 1, 78th birthday anniversary of his wife , HRH Queen Patricia Sideso JP, the Nene R Uvwie and their 55th marriage anniversary at ST Jude Catholic Church, GRA Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Tuesday, 19th December, 2023.
“We catholics are proud of being catholics .
” That is why the Arch Bishop of Benin City Catholic Diocese, Augustine Akubueze is here personally to celebrate with you,” he added.
The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Warri also remarked that the royal couple of Uvwie Kingdom loved the things of God just as he affirmed the popular saying among Uvwie people that Abe 1 is an uncommon king with an uncommon grace.

HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom in his speech at a superb reception he held for guests at the posh palace of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom opposite the catholic church stated among other things that his 15 years of reign so far were remarkable with a lot of tangible accomplishments.
” We thank all Uvwie indigenes and our friends for identifying with the needs and aspirations of the kingdom all this while. The beat goes on, ” he added.
The traditional ruler however called on all his subjects to be united in order to sustain the peace and progress in the kingdom.
He also called on non indigenes to help in building Uvwie Kingdom.
” Our arms are ever open to you as you have found abode and peace amongst us,” he stated.
While urging non indigenes to respect the culture of Uvwie Kingdom and contribute to its advancement, Abe 1 assured that the interest of non indigenes will always be protected in Uvwie Kingdom.
