Police Confirm Arrest Of LP National Chairman, Julius Abure

The Police have confirmed the arrest of the Labour Party, LP National Chairman, Julius Abure in Benin City, Edo State, South-South Nigeria.
The arrest by Zone 5 operatives of the Nigeria Police Force follows a petition against him over alleged assault, molestation and illegal possession of firearms.

Abure was in Benin City for the Edo State LP Governorship primaries scheduled to hold on Friday February 23 for nomination of party’s candidate for the September 21 polls.
