24-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Wellington Hotel

A yet-to-be identified 24 year old boy has reportedly died in the swimming pool of Wellington Hotel in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The incident occurred on Monday, March 11.

It was learnt that the deceased went to the hotel with some of his friend to swim and have fun.

It was gathered that the friends of the deceased were given floaters before they entered the pool except the deceased himself. He was alleged to have drowned and died during swimming.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe in a text message sent to our correspondent confirmed the report.

His message reads,”Swimming pool case confirmed.”
