Uvwie LGC Chairmanship Aspirant Wins Souls For Jesus Christ At Ugberikoko

An Uvwie Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant, Pastor Vincent Ekedayen of Redeemed Christian Church of God won scores of souls at a crusade in Ugberikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.
Residents including youths and the aged gave their lives to Jesus Christ shortly after the power packed ministration of the Word of God and deliverance crusade anchored by the Uvwie Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant.
Ekedayen took his bible text from Isaiah 60 verses 1- 2 which states that ‘ Let The Light Shine ‘, as he prophesied that the light of God will shine in Uvwie Local Government Area.
The dynamic preacher also prophesied that after the crusade, the ancient Uvwie community shall be christensen : ‘ Ugberikoko City ‘due to the tremendous progress the community will witness.
He also prayed for the upliftment of other communities in Uvwie Kingdom in the same manner and for the release of those that were in spiritual bondage .
Talking politics, Pastor Ekedayen declared his intention for the number one political seat in Uvwie Local Government Area under the Delta State ruling political party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He remarked that past chairmen of the Local Government Council tried their best, saying: “But if I am elected into office as chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, I will do better because I am going to introduce Christ into my administration” to the thouderous applause of residents of Ugberikoko that were present at the crusade.
Ekedayen stated among other things that he will also introduce a town hall meeting with every community in Uvwie Local Government Area if given the mandate to become the local government council chairman in order to have a first hand knowledge of the challenges and aspirations of the people of the area.
He vowed that he will be accountable and accessible to indigenes and non indigenes if elected as the number one citizen of Uvwie Local Government Council.
The Uvwie Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant wrapped up the power packed crusade with the gifts parliatives of 15 bags of garri ( provided by Vincent Ekedayen Outreach Foundation ) to residents of the community present at the crusade.
Beneficiaries of the parliatives who spoke to our correspondent, prayed for Pastor Vincent Ekedayen for him to realise his political ambition of becoming the chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council in the next dispensation.
