Edo 2024: Ighodalo Visits Okowa

In preparation for the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo State, Mr Asue Ighodalo, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa at his country home in Owa-Alero.
Okowa, who disclosed this in a post on X on Monday, added: “As a foremost lawyer and investment banker, I have a high regard for Mr. Asue Ighodalo’s capabilities and vision for Edo State. I believe he will provide innovative, competent, cost-effective and well-timed solutions that will help boost the economy of the state and also improve the lives of the people.”
He urged all members of the party across all levels within the state to work together in unity to ensure that PDP emerges victorious at the polls.

“I also call on the good people of Edo State to come out en masse on September 21st to vote for the PDP so the people of Edo State can continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy,” the post concluded.
