UNIDEL Hosts Committee Of Pro- Chancellors And Vice Chancellors

Pro- chancellors and Vice Chancellors from the four Delta State owned Universities on Tuesday converged at the University of Delta Agbor for a crucial meeting on how to move tertiary education in the state forward.

The meeting which was presided over by the Pro- Chancellor, University of Delta Agbor, Emeritus Prof. E.A.C Nwanze was held within closed doors.

At the end of the meeting, which lasted for several hours, members of the committee, which were visibly overwhelmed with the extent of development in Unidel, took a group photograph to cap up the event.

The Pro- Chancellors who attended the meeting were Emeritus Prof E.A.C,Nwanze, University of Delta, Agbor, Gen. Alexander Ogomudia (Rtd), Delta State University Abraka, Amb.Godson, Echegile Delta State Science and Technology, Ozoro and Prof. Robert Ikomi, Dennis Osadebe University, Asaba.

The Vice Chancellors were Prof( Mrs) Stella Chiemeke, University of Delta Agbor, Prof. Jacob Oboreh University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, Prof. Ben Oghojafor, Dennis Osadebe University Asaba and Prof. Andy Egwuyenga, Delta State University, Abraka.

Also in attendance was the Registrar of UNIDEL, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, who acted as Secretary of the Committee.
