Abe 1 Is A Promise Keeper – Akasa

The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Hope Akasa (JP ) has remarked that HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom he is a promise keeper.
Akasa who is the highest traditional chief in Uvwie Kingdom made the remark shortly after the inauguration of 6 bed room flats for staff of the palace of Ovie Uvwie Kingdom in the palace of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom by Abe 1 last weekend.
An elated High Chief Akasa proudly and gladly noted that the traditional ruler has kept to all the promises he made on ascension to the throne on Monday, 18th February, 2008.

He listed some of the promises to include : building of permanent palace of Ovie Kingdom, establishment of scholarship/ education scheme for indigent pupils and students of indigenes and non indigenes in Uvwie Kingdom, fostering peace and unity among people, establishment of palace security committee, holding of regular meetings with ilorogun (chiefs),maduviekeyare (wives of chiefs) , Eghweyare (mothers in Uvwie ) , Uvwie ( young men that are yet to chiefs ), palace security committee ( that is comprised of nonindegenes) among others.
He noted that the prevailing unity, peace and progress in the kingdom was initiatives of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom.
Akasa therefore prayed for long life, peace and prosperity of the Uvwie monarch.
