Ajede Dissolves Revenue Committees In Ukwuani Local Government

The Executive Chairman, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon (Barr) Possible Ajede, has dissolved all Revenue Committees in the local Government with effect from Wednesday, 24th July, 2024.
In a statement on Wednesday signed by Cordelia, the chairman appreciated all the dissolved members of the revenue committees for their commitments and adequate service delivery to the council.
The chairman also requested the council staff in charge of revenue to return to the office and handover every document in their possession to the Treasury Office.

According to the statement, “members of the public who are yet to meet up with year 2024 revenue of the local Government obligation are to approach the Treasury office,” stating that “the public will be duly informed as soon as the new revenue team is constituted.”
“Arising from the above, anyone caught collecting revenue in the name of the local Government will be dealt with in accordance with the extant laws of the land.
“All concerned are to strictly adhere to the above directive, please,” the statement concluded.
