Ajede Kicks Off Thank You Visit, Interactions With Ukwuani Communities At Obi-Obeti
The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon. (Barr) C.S. Possible Ajede, has expressed his profound gratitude to the Okpala-uku of Obi-Obeti, HRH John Ossai, the Obeti Palace Chiefs, and the entire community for their massive support for his previous administration and for voting massively for him and the Councillor representing the ward.
While thanking and addressing the community, he assured them that his administration is committed to upscaling the living standard of the Ukwuani people.

He further stressed the need for the community to takeover the ownership and protection of government facilities within the community.
Barr Ajede also expressed concern over the planned nationwide protest against hardship and called on the community to urge their youths to be very cautious of the nationwide planned protest, stressing that his administration desires a peaceful and calm LGA.
According to him, no meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of rancor.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Okpala-uku spoke through his spokesperson, Chief John Ugbe, and welcomed the council chairman and his entourage for deeming it fit to return to say thank you to the community.
The Okpala-uku expressed the community’s deepest appreciation to the Chairman for the reconstruction and modernization of the Obi-Obeti Market, provision of plastic chairs for the Okpala-uku Palace, annual supplies of Christmas rice, and the provision of school bags, uniforms, and books to primary school pupils during his Back to School campaign last year.
During the interactive session, Chief Donatus Oluka enumerated the needs of the community to include the construction of their Palace Road and Akoku-Uno Road.
Other areas of need are the provision of a library and laboratory for the community’s secondary school, as well as a water facility for their primary school.
Meanwhile, Barr Ajede has assured the community that the Council under his watch will look into the need areas of the community.
