Haruna Doda Confident Of Restoring Nigeria’s Football Glory

Former Nigerian footballer, Haruna Doda, has expressed his desire to coach the Nigeria Under 17 Golden Eaglets, stating, “I can bring back Nigeria’s football glory days if given the opportunity.”

Doda, who played for Bendel Insurance and Enugu Rangers, holds a UEFA A Elite License certificate and has 15 years of experience in grassroots soccer, having worked in Portugal and Asia.

He believes his expertise can help reposition Nigeria’s football to its former glory.

“The strength of Nigeria’s football lies in the Under 17 Golden Eaglets,” Doda emphasized”.

“I’m passionate about developing grassroots players, and it pains me that Nigeria, with its abundance of talent, has failed to qualify for major tournaments in recent times.”

A former Super Eagles player, Doda is confident that he can address the issue of late preparation, which has hindered the team’s success. He expressed his willingness to share his knowledge and experience to balance the structure of the Nigeria junior national team.

With his extensive background in grassroots soccer, Doda is eager to contribute to Nigeria’s football development and restore the country’s reputation in international competitions.
