Edo Guber: Obaseki Storms INEC, Walks Into REC’s Office

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has arrived at the head office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Edo State.
Accompanied by his security aides, the governor walked into the office of the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for a meeting which did not last 30 minutes.
The INEC head office in Benin, Edo capital, is the main collation centre for the ongoing governorship election.

Meanwhile, at the time of this report, videos showing him being worked out of the premises of INEC have emerged.
An X user, wrote: “Gov Obaseki being led out of INEC office in Benin at 5 am this morning after laying siege on the office of the Resident Electoral Commission for hours ostensibly out of desperation.”
