Osubi Airstrip Expansion: Waiting On Festus Keyamo With President Tinubu Approved N2Billion
Precisely February 2024, Festus Keyamo, Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development announced that President Tinubu has approved the upgrade and expansion of the Osubi-Warri airport Runway/Tarmac with sum of N2B (Two billion naira) to enable big aircrafts to take off and land.
As we speak no work has started on the Osubi Runway/Tarmac expansion project. The dilly-dally for the Osubi airport upgrade/expansion project is appalling.
It will be a shame if Keyamo as Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development from Uvwie LGA of Delta is unable to do the needful urgently as Minister in-charge of Airports in the country.
It is shameful that since February 2024 no work has started on the expansion of the Runway/Tarmac of Osubi Airport. Keyamo what are you waiting for since N2B has been approved for the project?

Has Keyamo forgotten his boasting on the Osubi airport project expansion of the Runway/Tarmac? The land for the Osubi expansion has long been acquired by Shell in the 90s.
