Why Nigerians Should Protest Against NNPC “Fueling” The Dangote Crisis –Kemi Olunloyo

Retired investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has taken to social media to condemn the ongoing fuel crisis in Nigeria, saying citizens of the nation must rise up and protest against the NNPC.

In a post on X on Friday, she said a protest has become necessary, adding that the NNPC is deliberating “fuelling the Dangote crisis.”

According to her, NNPC is also deliberating inflicting hardship on Nigerians.

Furthermore, she called on President Bola Tinubu to sack Mele Kyari, just as she urged the mainstream media to “wake up from their deep slumber.”

Kemi also said it was important for the price of PMS to be set as soon as possible to prevent “price gouging which is already happening.”

Meanwhile, in a YouTube video she said Tinubu is not doing a good job as president.

Continuing, she claimed that Kyari was hiding in London rather than being on ground to get things moving, just as she hinted that NNPC has refused to sit with Dangote to solve the fuel problem that has lasted on for days with scarcity of fuel now becoming the order of the day.

If nothing is done by Nigerians, she predicted that fuel will sell for as high as N1500 per litre before the year ends.

Dangote came out yesterday to speak against the fuel hike and the Federal Government is yet to say anything, wondering whatnthe silence was for.

Kemi said Tinubu is trying to get everything together but nothing seems to be working and so must fire his cabinet members.

Olunloyo said the president has tried to see Biden three times and he was prevented and now going to China to get loans, which she said is a bad step taken to things forward in the nation.

At the time of this report, fuel scarcity has been reported in several states of the nation and many wonder when this crisis will come.to an end.
