By Daniel Dafe
Investigative journalist, Jackson Ude has dared the military to produce a one second video of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, after the Nigerian Army claimed that he was alive and described rumors of his death as fake news.
Recall that Ude broke the news on X that Lagbaja was dead, adding that he died of cancer.
Ude who insisted that the Chief of Army Statf had passed on, wrote: “We are entering the late President Musa Yar’Adua era again. The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, has died. If the Army says it’s “fake news”, let them produce a one second video of General Lagbaja on his sick bed.”
According to him, “General Lagbaja is paid with tax payers money and the tax payers deserve to know where the recipient of their tax money is.”
