DISNA 2024: Comrade Agberen Bags ‘Activist Of The Year’ Award, Lauds Oasis Magazine

Comr.(Amb) Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen, National Coordinator, Initiative For Social Rights Concerns And Advancement(ISRCA) AKA “No Justice, No Peace” has appreciated Pastor Daniel Umukoro, Publisher of Oasis Magazine, for his invaluable contributions to the betterment of the society, just as he praised the media house for the honouring and recognizing him during the second edition of the Distinguished Nigerian Award (DISNA2024) that held recently.
Comrade Agberen who bagged the ‘Activist of the Year’ award at DISNA 2024, in a statement, added: “I have consistently followed Oasis Magazine for the past seven years and I am impressed by its insightful content and commitment to professional journalism, which sets it apart through quality and character.”
In his words, “today, I was humbled to have received the Distinguished Nigerian Award (DISNA 2024) as the ‘Activist of the Year’ alongside other dignitaries and awardees for my selfless service to humanity and commitment to nation-building. It was a great privilege to receive the award plaque, presented by the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd) Avwaeke 1.
