DELSU VC, Professor Asagba, To Hold Thanksgiving Service Saturday

Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, will on Saturday, March 1, 2025, hold a special Thanksgiving Service following his appointment as the 8th substantive Vice Chancellor of the Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka.

The programme to be conducted by the Bishop of Freedom Family Assembly, Great Ameye, will hold at the institution’s Convocation Arena, Site III.

The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori (Special Guest of Honour) and Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, are expected to grace the event.

Royal Fathers to attend the occasion include the Orodje of Okpe, HRM Major General Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd); Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM (Dr.) Emmanuel Sideso, OON, Abe 1; Ovie of Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom, HRM Akpomeyoma Mojoroh, Ojeta II and Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd.).

Others are Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, Ogurime-Rime, Ukori 1, JP and Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM Monday Obukowho Whiskey.

The thanksgiving programme will commence at 9a.m. and a reception to follow immediately at the same venue.
