FRSC Confirms 23 Dead, 50 Sustained Injuries In Kano Flyover Crash
Kano Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has confirmed the death of twety-three people in an auto crash at Muhammadu Buhari Interswitch Flyover, along Kano-Maduguri highway.
The Sector Commander, Umar Mas’udu Matazu, who confirmed the incident, said over fifty people sustained degrees of injury and now receiving medical attention at Murtala Mohammed Specialists Hospital as well as Abdullahi Wase Hospital, Kano.
He explained that the accident occurred on Friday night when a Trailer carrying goods and passengers on high speed lost control along the busy road.

The Sector Commander also said it took the intervention of the officers of the Corps, the police and good samaritans to rescue the victims and to clear the obstruction caused by the accident for free flow of traffic.
