Emadagba Leadership Tussle: Call Udu Council Chairman To Order, Delta Amnesty Secretary Tells Gov. Oborevwori

The Delta State National Secretary of the Amnesty Presidential Program Phase II chapter in Delta State PAP, Ambassador Abraham Vwaghie Stephen has called on the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon .Sheriff Oborovwori to call Udu Council chairman, Mr Vincent Oyibode to order and stay away from the Emadadja leadership and its already installed leader of the community.

Amb. Abraham who made the call during the weekend while speaking with URHOBO Voice in Udu, said, “the Udu Council Chairman, Mr Vincent Oyibode has caused havoc and set the Emadadja community on fire by imposing a factional leadership in the community against the existing leadership.

According to him, “Emadadja community does not have issues with the Council chairman, at all, but very unfortunately, the already sworn in executive leadership of Emadadja by the outgoing chairman, Mr Festus Ochigbughie.

Amb.Abraham emphasized that “suddenly, a friend to Mr Vincent Oyibode, one Mr Sunday Osubi boasted that, Mr Felix ighogboja cannot be the chairman and later lured Mr Vincent Oyibode to install another group of people from nowhere at the UDU Council secretariat to be the executive of the Emadadja community leaders against the collective interest of the community leaders that already inaugurated the chairman by the outgoing chairman.”

He said, the general public should take note that whatever happens at Emadadja community, Vincent Oyibode should be held responsible, just as he called on the council boss to stop attacking the community people with security personnel and others.

Adding, that, ‘they should hold Mr Vincent Oyibode responsible for causing community crisis and that the governor should call him order to avert innocent killings as crisis looms in the said community.
