62nd Birthday: Delta NUJ Congratulates Gov Oborevwori

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary, celebrated on June 19, 2025.
In a statement on Saturday signed by Churchill Oyowe, Chairman and Victor Sorokwu, Secretary, Delta NUJ said “the attainment of 62 years is not just a personal milestone,” saying that “it is a profound symbol of grace, wisdom, and enduring leadership.”
Delta NUJ continued: “It is an age that often reflects maturity, depth, and a rich tapestry of life experiences that continue to shape leaders to become even more impactful and people-oriented.”
According to the statement, over the past two years, Gov. Oborevwori has distinguished himself “through pragmatic leadership, promoting peace, fostering inclusiveness, and demonstrating a fervent commitment to the growth and development of Delta State.”
Continuing, the union said the visible progress recorded across various sectors under his stewardship stands as proofs to his dedication to the wellbeing of all Deltans.

Adding: “As journalists, we remain firmly committed to supporting your administration in the collective aspiration to elevate Delta State to greater heights. In doing so, we shall continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, objectivity, and fairness in the discharge of our constitutional responsibilities.
“Your Excellency, as you mark this remarkable age, we pray that you are continually strengthened with sound health, divine wisdom, and renewed vision to lead Delta State to even more prosperous frontiers.
“Once again, congratulations and best wishes.”
