— As He Salutes Isoko Youth On International Youth Day

Executive Director, Finance and Administration on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Chief Kome Okpobor in a stirring message today 12th August , 2025 to mark the 2025 International Youth Day, has commended the resilient, innovative and unyielding spirit of Isoko youth, urging them to see themselves not just as leaders of tomorrow, but as shapers of today.
Describing the youth as “The living proof that the future we dream of is already in our hands,” he praised their strides, noting that their contributions are already driving positive changes across Delta State and Nigeria at large.
“International Youth Day is not a ceremonial date on the calendar — it is a reminder that the energy, creativity and courage of young people are the world’s most powerful resources. I salute every Isoko youth who wakes up each day with a vision, takes bold steps and refuses to let challenges define him.

“You are not waiting for tomorrow; you are building it right now. Your ideas are not just shaping conversations — they are shaping realities. And in you, I see the promise of a Delta State where innovation is a culture, unity is a strength, and progress is a shared victory,” he said.
He then reiterated his commitment to supporting youth empowerment initiatives, pledging continued collaboration with stakeholders to create opportunities that match the ambition and talent of the younger generation.
“I want you to know that the world is watching, history is recording and destiny is calling. Answer boldly because the future is already yours,” he added.
