Obaro Charity Foundation Awards 3-Year Scholarship To Outstanding Student In Delta
The Obaro Charity Foundation has awarded a 3-year scholarship to Ubogu Avura-koghene, a talented student from Owhelogbo community in Delta State.
The scholarship, valued at #3,740,000, will enable Ubogu to pursue a course in Nursing at Mary Martha College of Nursing and Science.
The scholarship was awarded by Burutu Obaro Freedom, CEO of Obaro Charity Foundation, who disbursed #3,240,000 for tuition and #500,000 for upkeep to support Ubogu’s academic endeavors.

According to the foundation, the award was based on Ubogu’s exceptional academic merit and her challenging circumstances, having lost both parents.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Akpososo Oghenewogaga, Ubogu’s English teacher, who commended the foundation for its kindness and generosity.
The gesture has been hailed as a beacon of hope for the less privileged, and a testament to the foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals in society.
