Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda Will Revamp Nigeria’s Economy – Osawota

An All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain in Delta State, Chief Andi Kayoma Osawota has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda will revamp Nigeria’s economy.

The Warri based legal luminary cum economist stated this in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Monday, 15th September, 2025.

He said that he was convinced by President Tinubu’s achievements in his reforms as presented by the Secretary Of the Federation, Senator George Akume at a two day interactive session held in Kaduna on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

He therefore reasoned that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is truly a pragmatic vision built on the pillars of good governance.

“The facts and figures presented at the interactive session were enough to convince even his political opponents that he will revamp Nigeria’s economy if reelected in 2027,” Osawota added.

While nothing that President Tinubu’s economic reforms are designed to create a robust, diversified and resilient economy, the author of several books, expressed optimism that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu will sustain Nigeria’s economic growth, strengthen Nigeria’s National security, boost agriculture for food security and unlocked energy and natural resources and also enhanced infrastructure and transportation.

He also gave President Tinubu a pat on the back for his bold economic reforms, as he noted that they are aimed at stabilizing and stimulating Nigeria’s economy, unifying the exchange rates and restructuring Nigeria’s debt profile.

Osawota further noted that the Federal Government palliative, planned intervention through state governments, MSME support and public transportation upgrade are mitigating against the effects of the removal of fuel subsidy as he acknowledged the fact that savings from the oil subsidy removal are redirected into critical infrastructure and human developments, noting that states are receiving increased allocations for development.

Osawota is further full of praises for President Tinubu for his students’ loan scheme, as he stated that over 400, 000 students in tertiary institutions have benefited from it so far.
