Archbishop Orovwuje added, “what comes from the fuel subsidy removal has been channeled into many other sectors of the economy including high monthly allocations from the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC)to States Governments and Local Government Councils which are visible in the country.
” Yes, it appeared at first, the fuel subsidy removal was punishment on the people by the President Tinubu led administration but today, it is visible that it is a blessing to the nation because, the monies from the subsidy removal have been effectively utilised by the Federal Government to better the lots of the people.”

He spoke further, “the onus is now on the various State Governments and Local Government Councils to effectively deploy increased allocations to them for the maximum benefits of their people. The people should hold their Governors and Council Chairmen accountable.
“There is no gain saying the fact that the administration of President
Tinubu has done well for the nation. I am saying this not because l am a member of APC, far from that, if we observe properly, the economy of the nation has become stable, prices of food stuffs and other essential commodities go down on daily basis and it would continue to go down.”
