FG Bans Cash Payments To MDAs
The Federal Government has stopped all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) from collecting cash for making revenue payment.
This was contained in an official post on X on Tuesday.
Adding: “Payments must now be made electronically using POS and approved digital platforms.”
A new system called RevOP has been introduced to track all government revenue in real time.

“No MDA is allowed to use private or unapproved payment systems, and all accounts local and foreign must be fully declared,” the post said.
“Only CBN licensed and Accountant General approved payment providers can be used, and MDAs that fail to comply risk sanctions and restricted access to government financial systems,” the post concluded.
