Delta Police Commissioner Orders Summary Trial Of Two Officers Captured In Viral Video
The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, has ordered the summary trial of two police officers following their appearance in an embarrassing viral video.
The officers identified as AP No. 262712 Inspector Augustine Jeremiah and F/No. 519970 Corporal Miracle Ehirim are to face orderly room trial over their conduct as captured in the footage.
According to a statement from the command, the disciplinary process will be concluded on Thursday, with the outcome expected to be made public immediately after the proceedings.

The Police Command emphasized its commitment to discipline and accountability within the force, reiterating its zero-tolerance stance on misconduct.
“Say no to impunity,” the statement added.
