Delta: Ethiope East APC Chieftain, Ojakovo, Reaffirms Commitment To Gov. Oborevwori’s 2027 Victory

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and political leader in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Love Ojakovo, has reaffirmed his commitment and support for the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Chief Ojakovo, a former Commissioner for Finance and Housing during the administration of former Governor Chief James Onanefe Ibori, gave the assurance when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Oborevwori at his country home in Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area of the state.

During the visit, Ojakovo reaffirmed his commitment to the governor and pledged to mobilize party members, supporters, and stakeholders across Ethiope East Local Government Area in support of Governor Oborevwori’s re-election bid and other candidates of the party in the 2027 general elections.

He commended the governor’s administration, describing the implementation of the MORE Agenda as impactful and people-oriented. According to him, the developmental projects and governance style of Governor Oborevwori have earned him widespread acceptance among Deltans and positioned him strongly for a second term in office.

Chief Ojakovo called on well-meaning Deltans, irrespective of political affiliation, to rally behind Governor Oborevwori to enable him consolidate on the achievements already recorded. He noted that continuity in governance would ensure the delivery of more democratic dividends and sustained development across the state.

The former commissioner further stated that his visit was aimed at strengthening political realignments, fostering unity among stakeholders, and reinforcing grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 governorship election. He emphasized that Ethiope East would play a significant role in ensuring the governor records an overwhelming victory at the polls.

Responding, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori expressed appreciation for the visit and the show of confidence by Chief Ojakovo. The governor thanked him for his commitment to the progress of Delta State and urged political leaders and supporters to continue working together in the interest of peace, unity, and the sustainable development of the state.
