DELSU Releases 2026/2027 UTME Cut-Off Marks, Clinical Science Tops With 77.3

ABRAKA — Delta State University, Abraka, has released the approved cut-off marks for its 2026/2027 UTME admission exercise, with Clinical Science recording the highest mark of 77.3.

The approved cut-off marks were contained in the university’s Official Bulletin, dated Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Directorate of Ceremonials, Information and Public Relations, Vice Chancellor’s Office.

According to the bulletin, other programmes with high cut-off marks include Nursing Science (71.2), Law (70.5), Dentistry (70), Pharmacy (70) and Medical Laboratory Science (65.3).

In the Faculty of Management Sciences, Accounting has a cut-off mark of 56.7, while Business Administration stands at 55.1 and Public Administration at 52.

For computing-related programmes, Computer Science has a cut-off mark of 56.5, while Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information System, Information Technology and Data Science are each pegged at 40.

In the Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering has the highest cut-off mark at 52.5, followed by Petroleum Engineering (51.5), Electrical/Electronic Engineering (50.5), Chemical Engineering (45) and Civil Engineering (42.9).

The university also approved 50.6 for History and International Studies, 50 for Mass Communication, 50.6 for History and International Studies, 50 for Political Science and 50 for Microbiology.

Several programmes across the university have a minimum cut-off mark of 40, including all the listed programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, as well as the programmes listed under the Faculty of Education.

Other programmes with a 40-mark cut-off include Theatre-related, computing, science and social science programmes, among others, as contained in the official bulletin.

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences recorded varying thresholds, with Pharmacology at 53.8 and Public Health at 50, while the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences has Anatomy and Cell Biology at 50, Physiology at 48.4 and Medical Biochemistry at 47.1.

In the Faculty of Science, Biochemistry has a cut-off mark of 48.2, while Microbiology is pegged at 50. Several other science programmes have a minimum cut-off mark of 40.

The university said its bulletin could be accessed through the university website portal, DELSU Online, and its Facebook page.
