The announcement was contained in the institution’s official bulletin released on Friday by the Public Relations Unit of the Directorate of Ceremonials, Information and Public Relations in the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
According to the university, candidates who chose DELSU as their first choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 150 and above are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.
The university disclosed that online application commenced on Friday, May 29, 2026, while the application portal will close at midnight on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
It added that details concerning the screening exercise would be communicated to applicants through the phone numbers and email addresses provided during registration.
Candidates were advised to carefully read instructions on the university’s application portal before completing the registration process.
The institution also noted that candidates who did not initially choose DELSU as their first-choice university but met the required cut-off mark could still apply after changing their institution of first choice to DELSU through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal before the close of applications.
