DELSU Holds 12th Convocation Ceremony June 16
Delta State University, Abraka, says it will hold its 12th convocation ceremony for 2016/2017 academic session on the 16th of June, 2018.
The institution’s management in a press release said that at the programme, there will be conferment of Higher Degrees, First Degrees, Diplomas and award of prizes to deserving graduates of the university.
The five day convocation programme commenced on the 8th of June, 2018 with a Jumat Service at the Prayer Ground in Site III, Abraka and then an Interdenominational Church Service at Our Saviour’s Chapel, Abraka, on the 10th.
Also, an exhibition organized by the Department of Fine and Applied Arts is scheduled to hold tomorrow at the Bruce Onobrakpeya Art Gallery in Site II and the following day, a convocation lecture and drama by the Department of Theatre Arts at the 750 Lecture Hall, Site III and ATSCAN Hall, Site II, respectively.
The Special Guest of Honour, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor, Delta State and the Visitor to the university, is expected to grace the main event on Saturday at the Indoor Sports Complex, Site III, Abraka.
