Omene: Chief William Ibori Was A Patriotic Urhobo Man

The President General of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Chief Joe Omene, has eulogised Late Chief William Ibori, describing him as “a patriotic Urhobo man who believed so much in the UPU.”
Chief Omene, who spoke to Oasis Magazine during an exclusive chat added: “the demise of Chief William Ibori: aka Gbrogodo, came to some of us who loved him so dearly and see him as a father as a rude shock.
“He was a patriotic Urhobo man who believed so much in the UPU. He was with us all this while. The Urhobo Nation mourns this great son. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
Chief Williams Ibori, the former Unugbrogo of Oghara kingdom, was the elder brother of former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori.
He reportedly passed away very early Thursday morning.
