Edo 2020: APC’s Ize-Iyamu Votes, As Violence Erupts In Obaseki’s Polling Unit
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the ongoing Edo Gubernatorial Election, Pastor Ize-Iyamu has just cast his vote at his polling unit PU 026 ward 5, Iguododo.
Meanwhile, reports say that there was pandemonium in Governor Godwin Obaseki’s unit.
Sources said fight erupted at Governor Godwin Obaseki’s polling unit, unit 19, ward 04, Oredo local government area of Edo state after supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) attacked each other shortly after the governor arrived to cast his vote.

Oasis Magazine (OM) gathered that violence erupted in Obaseki’s PU as Jimoh, PDP hard man insisted people should stop shouting APC, that they should at least respect Obaseki who was present there. He hit an APC man and the whole crowd descended on him. He was rescued by the police and Obaseki was fully protected.
At the time of filing this report, Obaseki had also voted.
