DSIRS, FRSC TO Strengthen Collaboration

The Chairman, Delta State Internal Revenue Service, Sir Monday Onyeme has emphasised the need for regular collaboration between the State Government and the Federal Road Safety Corps, especially in the area of joint enforcement exercises of motor vehicle administration laws within the state.

Sir Onyeme spoke on Wednesday while playing host to the Delta State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Corps Commander Alphonsus Godwin when the latter visited Revenue House Warri on a courtesy call.
The Revenue Service boss who recalled his good working relationship with previous sector commanders expressed hope that FRSC would continue the collaborative relationship with the Service under the headship of the new sector commander.
Speaking earlier, the Sector Commander Alphonsus Godwin explained that his visit was to familiarise and engage with critical stakeholders in motor vehicle administration in the state as well as build on the existing relationship between the revenue service and the FRSC.

He promised to work closely with the Chairman and management of the Service to ensure that motor vehicle administration in the state is improved upon.
