Kanu Attacks President Buhari As Peru President Resigns
By Oasis Magazine
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has taken a swipe at thePresident Muhammadu Buhari-led government following the resignation of Peru President, Manuel Merino, over attack on protesters.
Recall that Merino resigned following the death of two protesters who were protesting against the government in Lima, the capital city.
Information gathered disclosed that police operatives fired tear gas and shotgun pellets to repel demonstrators who threw objects.
The IPOB leader in his reaction to the development condemned the Nigerian government over its approach on the End SARS protest across the nation.
Naija News quotes KANU as saying, “Peru President Merino resigns following street protests but in Nigeria, following #EndSARS protests, Nigeria president is either persecuting and freezing bank accounts of Nigerian youths or slaughtering them at #Obigbo and Nigerians are seemingly tolerating it.”
