JUST IN: Delta Set To Launch Civil Servants’ Solar Ownership Scheme

Delta State Government has called on the general public, particularly Delta State civil servants in the state to take advantage of the Delta State Civil Servants’ Solar Ownership Scheme.
The launch of the scheme will hold on Wednesday, 9th December, 2020 at the Association of Senior Civil Servants Hall, Maryam Babangida Way, Asaba at 11.00 am.
A statement by Theresa Oliko, Director of Information, Delta State Ministry of Information, dated Sunday, 6th December, 2020, said those that enroll in the scheme “will enjoy 24/7 electricity and save themselves from incessant power failure and high cost associated with running petrol or diesel power generating sets.”
Adding that the Office of the Head of Service, in collaboration with Ukpa Hansa Energy Solutions Limited, will officially launch the program on the said day.
The statement continued: “The benefits of the solar ownership scheme for civil servants include flexible payment plan, installmental payment (on save as you pay basis), no hidden charges, free maintenance during warranty window and two years warranty on all packages.”
