Okowa Gets Commendation For Even Distribution Of Infrastructural Development

The Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has been commended for several people oriented infrastructural projects evenly distributed across all parts of the state.
The Chairperson, Anioma indigenes of the office of the Post Primary Education Board, Mrs. Franca Nkeonyeilo, who made the commendation in Asaba during the end of year get-together party/lunching for a coastal bus for the group, affirmed that the governor had transformed all critical sectors of the economy.
Mrs. Nkeonyeilo, however, stated that the purpose of the organisation was to foster more unity and understanding among Anioma citizens, stressing that the rich cultural heritage of Anioma should be promoted at all times.

While calling on the people of Delta North to rally round the present administration, she maintained that the strength of the people of the area depends on their indivisible unity.
Speaking in their various remarks , the Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Louis Ndukwe, represented by Hon. Kingsley Okpunor, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Protocol, Mr Samuel Fejokwu, and the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PPEB Anioma Citizens, Mr. Kelvin Adagbon called for more commitment towards the articulation and pursuance of the course of the Anioma nation.
The Governor’s SSA on Protocol, described Anioma nation as an organised entity, saying that as the first Governor to have emerged from Delta North, Okowa led administration had continued to surpass the expectations of Deltans .
Fejokwu enumerated some of the achievements of the governor to include the construction of numerous roads, the completion of the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba and the completion of the Asaba International Airport among other countless projects across the state.
In an interview with journalists, the Permanent Secretary, Post Primary Education Board, Mr. Augustine Chukwuma and Mr. Harold Ezeamaka, a Director in PPEB said that the gesture was aimed showcasing the culture of the Anioma nation and urged the people to always speak in one voice.
