50-Year-Old Woman Commits Suicide In Sapele
A woman in her early 50s and mother of four identified as Florence Owa, on Tuesday, committed suicide in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Florence is said to have died after she drank a poisonous substance, Sniper that has since been banned by government.
Advocate.ng reports that the incident happened at Oghene Road area of the said community.

The incidence, has threw the entire area into confusion as neighbours reportedly battled to save her life.
Our correspondent gathered that the deceased has been battling with ill health for some time now and was recently discharged from a private clinic, a situation that a neighbor said could have pushed her into suicide.
It was also gathered that the deceased who was a popular devotee of a popular church along Awolowo road was recuperating when one of her children who came home, found her unconscious.
A resident of the area disclosed that Florence popularly called Floxy has been battling depression since her illness started sometime ago.
Her body was said to have been found in the sitting room and immediately rushed to the Sapele Central Hospital, where she was confirmed dead on arrival.
Spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, Onome Onowakpoyeya could not be reached when contacted as calls to her mobile number were not reachable.
