NEXIT: How To Apply For CBN SANEF Agent

The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management & Social Development has promised to create 3 job opportunities for exiting Npower Volunteers.

According to Sadiya Umar Farouq, the jobs will include SANEF Agent, Agriculture extension agent and GEEP loan programme.

In a statement issued by Vice president Osinbajo, 200,000 beneficiaries will be employed as operators of the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) scheme operated by CBN.

Facilities and equipment will be given to them to start up.

The SANEF scheme is a project powered by the Central Bank of Nigeria, deposit money banks, Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Licensed Mobile Money Operators, and Shared Agents with the primary objective of accelerating financial inclusion in Nigeria.

Who is SANEF Agent?
SANEF Agents are individuals or small businesses who provide financial services within communities on behalf of licensed financial institutions. They are recruited and monitored by SANEF Super Agents.

Minimum Requirements to become a SANEF Agent 2021
Must be able to read and write
Must have a functional computer or at least an android enabled mobile phone
Must have an existing physical shop/business outlet
A copy of ID or equivalent (Driver’s license, National ID card, Int’l passport, Voter’s card)
A Passport-sized photograph Proof of Address (Utility bills e.g. PHCN, LAWMA, DStv, GOtv, StarTimes, etc.)
Financial/Bank account detail or statements
