RAPE : Man Arrested For Defiling 2 Year Old Baby

The Police Command in Edo State said it has arrested a 63-year-old grandfather for defiling a two-year-old girl.

The Spokesman for the Command, Mr Chidi Nwabuzor, said that the incident happened in Urhonigbe community in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of the state,NAN reports.

Nwabuzor said that the police had completed its investigation into the matter and the suspect would soon be prosecuted in court.

He said Igbinokhuaihe lured the girl into his room using a loaf of bread and used his finger to break the hymen.

“The mother of the child noticed that something was wrong when her daughter screamed while she attempted to bathe her later in the evening.

“The mother also said her little girl described how Igbinokhuaihe used his finger on her private part, which made her an raise the alarm that attracted neighbours.

“She also reported the case at Urhonigbe Police Station and the suspect was arrested and transferred to Abudu Police Division,” he said.
