Lagos Online Publisher Counters LASG, Says Amputee Hawker, Mary Should Be Given Her N25M

Publisher of Gabrio Voice, Goodday Odidi Aguriase, who is based in Lagos, has come out in defense of Mary Daniel, the amputee hawker, over allegations by Lagos State government that her claims that her father is dead and that she was amputated after an accident are fake.

Oasis Magazine reported according to a report by the Nation that the Lagos State Government held back the 25 million naira donation sent to her by Nigerians because the story of Mary Daniel was full of lies.

Recall how Mary’s story of her life’s experience and she ended up as a hawker went viral and Nigerians donated generously to her to help her start a business and get her off the streets.

But, Aguriase believes Mary Daniel is been victimized because she rejected to offer kick backs to officials of the state government.

In a facebook post, the publisher said: “Publisher of Gabrio Voice, Goodday Odidi Aguriase, who is based in Lagos, has come out in defense of Mary Daniel, the amputee hawker, over allegations by Lagos State that are claims that her father was dead was fake.

In a facebook post, the publisher said: “Gov.Yahaya Bello, Nwosu, abeg let us come out to fight for Mary Daniel, some criminals in government are now publishing fake stories on this poor woman. God of Elijah will fight for her. Liars and destiny destroyers everywhere. If you read the story trending online, it is all fake investigation and reporting. I can’t believe lies. Those criminals want their kickbacks, refusal to accept, then ready for media war.God is watching us.”
