Ajede Praises Youths In Ukwuani
Youths in Ukwuani Local Government area of Delta State, have been described as civilized, organized, informed, resourceful and respectful.
The Executive Chairman, Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S.P Ajede, made this statement while playing host to Umuaja Community youths in his office today.
The Chairman who commended the youths for resorting to peaceful dialogue instead of violence, assured youths in the LGA that his administration has a blueprint for youth development, teenagers mentoring, strategic empowerment and building a generation of refined young leaders.
He also appealed to the youths to always shun violent impulse even as he advised youths to stay calm and remain peaceful during challenging situations; as according to him, no meaningful decision making and taking can be done in rancorous atmosphere.
After listening dispassionately to the Umuaja Community youths and the Ukwuani Community Youth Leaders Forum President, Comr Fidelis Azaka aka Aguocha on the unsatisfactory manner Umuaja OFN money is disbursed, Barr Ajede narrated how he brought the first OFN money to Ukwuani Local Government some 12 years ago.

The Chairman unequivocally stated that the OFN money is meant for the youths while adding that, at no point should the youths neglect the interests of the leaders that are making sure the OFN money gets to the communities.
The council boss however noted that he will ensure that whatever that is due the youths will at all times get to them and whatever that is due the political leaders in the LGA will not be contested.
He assured the youths that his administration is still strategizing on how to accommodate as many youths as possible across the LGA in his Human Capital Development Strategic Programmes.
“I am still strategizing on how to help add meaningful values to the lives of the Ukwuani youths; I am a youth and I am committed to better the lots of the youths in the all the communities. The youths will not be shortchanged in my time,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Barr Ajede has assured Umuaja youths that, Umuaja and all the communities across the LGA that his administration’s projects and programmes will get to every community.
“This is not a government of injustice. We stand for justice and equity,” he enthused.
