Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Expresses Sadness Over Death Of Emir Of Gaya

THE Member representing Albasu Gaya & Ajingi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya, has expressed grief and sadness over the death of Emir of Gaya Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir.

He said that late Kirmau Mai Gabas has been known as a promoter of peace and unity among the peoples of the emirate even before his elevation to emir of Gaya emirate.

The federal lawmaker made this known in a condolence message on behalf of himself and the people of the constituency to newsmen in the state.

Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya stated that with the passing of Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir, Kano State, and the emirate have lost a monarchs, whose contributions to the peaceful co-existence of his subjects cannot be forgotten in years to come.

Saying contributions of late Kirmau Mai Gabas to the development of Emirate, and the State are unparalleled adding that late Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir’s life on earth was very eventful and his achievements in all spheres of life left indelible marks on the people of his domain and the state at large.

He prayed that God would forgive the shortcomings of the departed, remember his good works, grant his soul eternal rest as well as give his family and the people of the Emirate the much-needed strength and comfort to bear the loss.
