‘Senator Godswill Akpabio For Common Good’ Group Berths In Asaba

Coordinator, Senator Godswill Akpabio For Common Good in the South South,
Amb Oke Idawene JP, has said that the group will meet in Asaba soon.
Idawene, disclosed this in a statement, but did not say when the event will hold.
In a statement made available to journalists, Idawene, while eulogizing Akpabio, said “the group is Pan Nigerian.”
Adding: “It’s important to note that the quest for a better Nigeria is a collective responsibility and task.”
According to him, “All political leaders should emulate Godswill Akpabio.”
Continuing, he disclosed that the group launched its monthly magazine titled ‘National Interest’ two weeks ago in Kano, saying the media outlet is geared towards promoting the unity and empowerment of Nigerians.
“We must put the country ahead of personal benefits. Our unity is sacrosanct. It is time to build bridges like never before, not walls,” he said.

Furthermore, he said that the National Coordinator, Mallam Tafida Jubril will be on ground to preside and the entire South South coordinators will be present in Asaba for the occasion.
“It will be the beginning of a new dawn in the Nigerian project. Please note that everyone is invited irrespective of political party lines and ideology. We are all together. This group belongs to all Nigerians; it is not a political party. The major aim is to get Nigeria working again.
“Nigeria shall succeed in all ramifications. Please pray for this country. No matter how they try, we have gone too far for separation. This time we shall be doing things differently to expect different and far better results,” he opined.
