Zakzaky Distances Self From Poster Linking Him To Kwankwaso’s 2023 Presidential Ambition
The leader of the Islamic Movement in NIgeria (IMN) Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has distanced himself from posters linking him to Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s 2023 presidential ambition.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Vice President Media Forum of the Islamic Movement, Abdullahi Usman, made available to newsmen on Thursday, November 11, 2021, titled, “Mischief makers are at it again!”
“Our attention has been drawn to a poster linking Sheikh Zakzaky to the presidential ambition of former Governor of Kano state, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
“This is the handiwork of some mischievous people to further their sinister motives,” it said.

The group said that for the fact that Sheikh Zakzaky is a respected Islamic scholar and Sen. Kwankwaso a well known politician, is enough in itself to show the folly of those behind this illogical contraption.
“Sheikh Zakzaky will never contest any political positions in Nigeria. Though as a Nigerian he has the right to do so but he is Islamic Scholar will never belong to any political party.
“We call on all and sundry to disregard that poster that hasn’t the blessings of the Sheikh and the politician,” it added.
