DELSU Alumni Telegram Platform Hits 632 Members

The Telegram platform created by the management of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka for Alumni of the institution, has grown to at least 632 members.
Prof (Mrs) Rosemary Okoh, DVC Administration and Chair of the Convocation committee that holds later this year, in a post recently, said “preparations for the 14th Convocation and 30th Anniversary celebrations are in top gear.”
She added: “The University management is very much interested in getting all our alumni showcased in divers ways. To achieve this we are developing a database for our Alumni.”
Describing the move as “the new realities and new vision of DELSU, Abraka,” she said: “The VC is looking forward to a very fruitful engagement with the great alumni of our great University.”
Meanwhile, Prof. Okoh disclosed that the institution is writing a book on DELSU @ 30, adding: “A chapter has been dedicated to showcase our alumni who have been so established and have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavor that we can proudly call them heroes and heroines.”
